There are so many people today who say they are on the way to heaven. Jesus said there are only few who will find the way to life (Luke 13:24, Matthew 7:14). Eternity is a long time it would be unwise to stand on that day before the Lord and find out that you had lived your life in vain (Hebrews 9:27, I Corinthians 9:27).

There is a gospel preached today which is different from the one Jesus preached (2 Corinthians 11:4); a gospel where people who live for the world six days a week come on Sunday to hear that everything is well between them in the Lord; where people are happy that they prayed a prayer years ago but today are not serious about walking with the Lord today. The Bible clearly says "If we are a friend of this world we are an enemy of God" (James 4:4);

Jesus paid a heavy price for sin, He was tortured and killed to pay for our sins and to say it's okay to live in sin you are following a different Jesus. If you are living in sin today and think everything is alright between you and the Lord you are deceiving yourself. Turn from your sins and repent; confess your sins to the Lord and forsake your sins. (I John 1:9, Proverbs 28:13)

Some say if you sin it just breaks your communication with God for a while but you are still saved; I don't see that in scripture, I read to that "For to be carnally minded is death to be spiritually minded is life and peace (Romans 8:6), I read that "For if you live after the flesh ye shall die; but if you through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body shall live" (Romans 8:13), I also read that "He that committeth sin is of the devil for the devil sinneth from the beginning" (I John 3:5) The Bible says "If you live after the flesh you will die", the devil still tells people today what he told Eve in the garden "You shall not surely die" (Genesis 3:4). People choose to believe what the devil says than what the Word of God says so clearly.

Dear brother, sister please don't continue to live in sin; if the Lord has convicted you through this article please do not throw this off; Two choices are before you one to live in sin and justify it or come to the Light and confess and turn from you sins. I would encourage you to repent and turn from your sins now. As scriptures say "Exhort one another daily while it is called Today; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin." (Hebrews 3:13) Scripture asks us to examine whether we are in the faith (2 Corinthians 13:5);
