  • Is it possible that I am too bad, that the Jesus can't help me ?

No matter how bad you have lived thus far, you can turn your life around today. You can give God the broken pieces of your life and He will take it and give you a brand new life in return.

Jesus mentioned that it wasn't the healthy people that needed a doctor but the sick, He said that He came to lead sinners to repentence and not for those who thought they were righteous.

You can have all your sins forgiven and set free from the shame and guilt of your past. If you desire to turn from your sins and ask Him to forgive you of your sins.

  • Will my life be perfect after I accept Jesus into my life ?

No, the Bible mentions all those who desire to live godly will suffer persecution. This persecution can be from friends and relatives. But God promises that in Him we will have peace but in this world we will have tribulation. From History we know that all but one of the disciples were martyred. They had to pay price to follow Jesus and they decided that it worth it. Jesus asks people to count the cost before following Him.

  • Will I become unpopular ?

It is highly likely that you might become unpopular with some people. I remember that many close friends were not so close friends anymore after I came to know Jesus.
There were things that I wouldn't participate in because I knew that they would displease God if I did, so that was a cause for some people to not be as close with me as they were.
God did however give me some new friends who were closer to me than a brother. People would encourage me when I felt discouraged. Friends who would pray with me when I was sick. Friends would have a timely word that I would need to hear just when I needed it most.

  • What can I do to grow in Christian life?

    1. Reading the Bible helps us to understand how God wants us to live. The Bible is separated into two parts. One is the Old testament which is before the coming of Jesus Christ. And the second part if the New Testament which describes the coming of Jesus Christ and the events that followed His coming. You could start with the gospel of John. Which is the forth book in the New Testament. And then go through the rest of the new testament.

    2. It would be good to find a good Bible teaching church. This will help you to grow in your knowledge of the Bible and receive encouragement. If you are young adult / teenager you can search for a youth group that has a group of young believers with whom you can grow.

If you dont know a Bible teaching church in your area. Pray that the Lord leads you to a church. When I came to the US from India, I prayed and God led me to a youth group where He was able to help me grow.

  • What assurance do we have as Christian when we die?

The Bible tells us that we will be given a new body. This body of ours that grows old, and is filled with sickness and pain will be replaced with one that won't grow old or have sickness. We will be in the presence of the Lord.

Please read the following verses to understand more:
    I Thessalonians chapter 4:13-18
    2 Corinthians chapter 5

One day we are all going to stand before the throne of God and give account of our lives. All our motives and thoughts will be laid before the Lord, both the good and the bad. Being aware of this we want to seek to live a godly life with God's help and strength.

  • Do you have any regrets in turning your life to Jesus?

No, there are many things I have done and said that I have regretted later. But the one thing I have never regretted is hearing about Jesus and turning my life over to Him. I am so thankful today that He is in my life, He is the most important reason that life is worth living.
